Time: 10:30am - 4:30pm

3 diamond star settings on copper as learning technique

Join award-winning Master Setter Dimitar Hitrov for an intensive one-day workshop focused on Star Setting and Grain Setting.

Grain setting involves securing small faceted stones in metal using raised beads—or “grains”—formed with a sharp graver. This traditional technique adds both security and intricate detail to your designs.

Mastering grain setting unlocks a wide range of creative options, including working with different stone shapes and creating decorative effects like star settings. It’s a valuable skill that will elevate your jewellery work and expand your design possibilities.
